Compulsion
Compulsion
Cardboard, acrylic, found packaging
16" x 27"
$2500
You know the feeling. That itch you can’t ignore. That drive to build, collect, create, achieve -something.
This piece came from that same place. Not peace. Not stillness. But movement. Hunger. The compulsion to do.
Sometimes it shows up as ambition. Sometimes as late-night shopping, overcommitting, refreshing the screen just to feel in control. These bars are made from the packaging that showed up at my door when I didn’t even know what I was looking for.
But that restless energy? It’s also fuel. It’s what pushes us to break patterns, take risks, make something out of nothing.
Compulsion isn’t a flaw - it’s a force. Learning to steer it can change everything.
