I Can Buy Myself Flowers

$3,000.00

Acrylic on reclaimed cardboard shipping box. Mounted on wood laminate shelf. Double-wall corrugated fiberboard (originally used to package wedding dishes all those years ago)

21" x 23" | $3,000

I didn’t wait for someone else to show up with a bouquet. I made my own.

This piece is the beginning of a series about self-celebration—about honoring the fact that we don’t need permission to feel joy, to take up space, or to bring beauty into our own lives.

These flowers aren’t delicate. They’re layered, assertive, and entirely on my terms. Each petal, each bold stroke, is a reminder that you don’t have to wait for a special occasion to feel like one.

I Can Buy Myself Flowers is a declaration—for anyone who’s learned how to show up for themselves and wants to be reminded of that power every single day.

Hang it like a bouquet that never wilts. A celebration that never needs a reason. Because flowers look damn good on your wall, too.
